May 16, 2012: 3rd visit to hospital

Mom is on her way back to St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta tonight to be re-admitted for her third time. She has had really, really intense swelling in her thighs, legs, and feet. She gained 5 pounds just TODAY, which is pretty bad. She has attempted to make it go down, but her doctor said on the phone to go back to the hospital. Although I am so heartbroken (again), I honestly don't know what to say at this point except for "Why?". She will be in the hospital for a while to try and get things under control and to have hospital dialysis for a few days, and starting her chemo again on Friday. I am so sad and disappointed.
